Car Caster Privacy
Last updated August 1, 2026
Data used
Car Caster stores the connected wallet address, optional Farcaster ID and profile details, garage inventory, tuning-part loadouts, cosmetics, progression, races, challenges, rankings, reward history, and verified payment hashes. Basic technical data such as route, error message, IP-derived rate-limit signals, and device context may be processed to keep the app reliable.
Real Garage profiles can include vehicle photos, build details, mileage, ownership history, and stories. Photo evidence submitted for the verified-owner badge is stored for manual review.
Player warnings, suspensions, bans, reasons, expiry times, and owner action history are stored so the app can enforce and review moderation decisions.
Storage and services
Persistent game data is stored in Neon PostgreSQL. Farcaster supplies mini-app identity, sharing, and notification subscriptions. Wallet providers and Base RPC services process blockchain activity. The app may store mute or interface preferences in browser local storage.
Sharing
Public rankings and challenge pages can show a player's display name, Farcaster handle, profile picture, garage result, and score. Wallet addresses may be shortened in public views. The app does not sell personal data.
Garage profiles, reactions, comments, and club membership are public. Verification evidence is limited to the review flow and is not shown in public garages.
Your choices
You can use the web fallback without Farcaster profile enrichment. You may request access, correction, or deletion through @lucifercaretaker. Some transaction records remain public on the blockchain and cannot be deleted by the app.
